Capita might have something of a reputation and have long been known as Crapita aqnd have grabbed for PPC's, spending vast sums for them but I don't think even they have actually bought Liberty Services Ltd and I'll tell you for why.

Back in the balmy, and certainly drier winter of 2010/2011 CPP's AOS membership listing was altered to incorporate Liberty Printers (A R & A F Reddin) Ltd and Liberty Services Ltd. Being keen to understand as much about PPC as I could I researched the companies only to find that at that time Liberty Services Ltd were subject of an active notice of voluntary strike-off and in November the company was dissolved and struck off. There has been no petition to reinstate and the company has been recorded as dissolved since that time (12/11/2010).

Liberty Services Ltd (Co. No. SC204434) was a small computer company based in Leven in Fife and did not then and hasn't had since any connection whatsoever with Liberty Printers and CPP.

This issue was raised on numerous occasions with the BPA (and the email exchanges have been safely kept) and if any action was taken by them to question the accuracy of Liberty's registration with them then it has never worked its way through the system because Liberty Services Ltd has been continuously recorded as part of the Liberty/CPP organisation since that time.

Now, what do you think that says about the reliability of the publicly available AOS membership listing?

    Quite.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

That's interesting info HO87 especially as Car Parking Partnership Ltd is a separate company identity but has been declared dormant for a number of years.

(I only listed Liberty services as grouped together on the BPA list and indeed you are correct they are dissolved.)

I have been checking my AOS listing details only to confirm that there was no listing for Car Parking Partnership (not the limited version) until December 2010 and then it only appeared as a trading title of Liberty Services Ltd. The appearance of CCP Ltd is a comparatively recent happening.

There have been two previous companies called Liberty Services Ltd - both dissolved - both London based (one in east London, the other in north London) neither of whom have existed any more recently than 2000. There is a relatively recently formed company called Liberty Service Ltd with two directors both seemingly of eastern European extraction so I think we can discount them. Quite who or what is the actual trading entity is a much a mystery as it always was and the BPA - despite protestations about their duty to the public (entitlement to know exactly who their members were) have demonstrated little concern seemingly.
