assuming you can afford to pay car insurance in a one off payment.
if you use a comparison site (which ive just done and saved £170) where it asks what way you normally pay, monthly / annually click monthly (even if you normally pay annually) and the price drops.
same quote but that is all I change and it dropped by another £70 approx.
1st quote was £240 saying I pay annually it dropped to £170ish saying I pay monthly.
then I just paid in 1 go.
just a tip to save you some money
remember there only asking how you normally pay not how your going to pay

i used comparethemarket when i noticed this happen. so i get my free meerkat as well lol
just done the same with motorbike insurance as well £45 for the yr
