Hi, New to the forum and was hoping for some advice really... I have a BMW 1 series (116i), 54 plate and the car has done 52000 miles. this is the first thing that you need to establish, is there an active recall for the timing chain tensioner on the 2004/2005 BMW116i as this has not yet been confirmed 100%

if there is an active recall and your car has slipped the net then you should get help from the dealers to sort the issue out
