I have been asked by some who does not have pc and b/band as he is on JSA and may have to go abroad due family emrgy for 4 weeks plus and he know he will not get any thing form JSa but wnat to know if his rent will be paid
as he may b away for more then 4 weeks

It is perfectly possible to get HB if you are temporarily away from the house but you must inform the council giving reasons for the absence. Phone the local council in case proof is needed of the reaon for the absence.
