Have you got the plugin foir adobe flash player 9 for firefox? Worth a try
As to other problem....not connected to the internet e.g page not found...but its a correct page e.g. google, or cannot connect to network. You didnt say if using a router i presume u are?

At our shop we would recommend you take off Norton and replace with AVG which is free. I dont know if it will help but it should speed up your laptop.Just owe Dad £2500 for a new car

With new laptops with correct setup and enough memory, norton can be used ok. Personally I dont like avg, dosent pick up alot of things it should, were as norton has more definitions, but i wouldnt pay price for norton!0
