Last year I was dead miffed when I found I had missed by miles the time to buy sweet pea plants. When are they normally available?

Plants will be available in a few weeks.... there may even be some out now.

BUT...MSE... try seeds instead. Ideal sowing time, and so easy & cheap.

I always grow them from seed even planted them in May and they catch up. Last year I got a excellent crop must be because we actually had a Summer

Love Sweet Peas and as others have said so easy to grow from seed.

Yes I love them to got loads of seeds from last year. I got some long lasting SP too but not sure if they have survived Winter although they should have done

I've never managed to grow them, the wind up here always destroys them, but I've got a sheltered corner I want to try them in TY everybody.

Thanks for the post, I had forgotten to order my seeds, for some reason, done now.

Mine are flying up grown from seed in December!

I can't put them outside until after the last frosts, so here that means 1st June. I will wait until mid April, but buy my seeds now
