Not sure about hotels but last year we were going to book thomsons Alfredo and the price quoted was much more than the one on the website which had discount . we didn't bother in the end as I didn't think it was best use of the vouchersGrocery Challenge Feb 14 £500 / Spent £572.10!
March 14 £500 / spent £488.45 :j0 -
it really depends on the company... it is really swings and roundabouts...
(from experience)
2 yrs ago - we booked a (caravan site UK), never checked the normal price, just rang and used the Tesco price - booked 2 weeks, off hand price was £1600 (and at time the vouchers were x 4 - so we got £800 off the holiday.
After that I looked online and same holiday (no vouchers) - was priced at £1200
So it that instance not value for money...
But.......
last yr rang re a holiday for this yr- (long haul holiday)
Rang booking line for tesco - quoted £3175
Rang "normal booking line" apart from fact got same advisor (but once explained we both laughed) - same holiday £3163
So in this case £12 difference.
I was told by the UK caravan site that they are unable to offer any promotional discounts on the holidays.

The only thing I would suggest is price both with and without Tesco vouchers, I would say it depends on the amount of vouchers you have.

Personally I find that day trips/ membership vouchers can be good value xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I use mine for Cinema vouchers! But a holiday does sound great0

It used to be better value.
If you are specifically shopping to gain clubcard points, then it is a bad exchange.
If you shop in Tesco anyway, then it's a good price. Hotel stay free with CC points that are an added bonus to your shop, or physical cash from the bank account.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

It's worth noting that a lot of people are having their voucher stolen, and Tesco doesn't seem to know how to stop that from happening.. they normally give the points back, but it can be a bit of a pain.
For this reason I would say don't keep too many points in your account.0 -
I used mine for a merlin annual pass, when I looked into it the holiday exchange I wanted wasn't worth it0
