Waiting for something else to appear on your blog. Don't give up now.

If you go onto my blog there is lots of crafty stuff on there, but you will have to click on 'crafty stuff' on the side bar, because there's lots of other stuff as well.
    :)

I have a (reasonably new) sewing blog - not that crafty in other areas of crafting though *shameface*

I now have a blog! wooohooo!

Yes, me too. :j .... And it only exists because I was encouraged by the folks in this thread and their blogs. I've wanted to 'make' a blog for about 9 -12 months but I was a bit scared about how to do it, .. and worried that I'd have nothing interesting to talk about. I kind of feared that I'd just babble on and no one would be reading it. In the end I decided that it didn't matter if anyone read it, because the challenge of building the blog would be the BIG thing for me.

So far I've *met* the challenge, and now I'm starting to make it look nice and also be easy for people to use. I've only posted a couple or so things on there so far, but I've got some photo's which just need me to edit them a little (make them smaller) and get them onto the blog.

To be honest & truthful - I'm thrilled to pieces that I'm doing so amazingly well with it. I have a neurological condition which has got very much worse over the past two years and (affecting my brain and body in some bl**dy annoying and embarrassing ways) it has had a major impact on my memory - making learning and remembering things pretty much impossible somedays. So this 'challenge' which I've set myself is giving me so much joy, simply because I'm doing it all by myself, without asking for help from anyone.
(OK, I have to keep re-reading the instructions of the blogging website, and I have to keep watching the darned video's, pausing them while I do a little instruction then going back and watching the next bit so that I can do the thing I'm trying to do ... but I haven't physically asked anyone for any help - which when you consider I have three internet geeks in the family, not asking for help from them and actually achieving what I have done so far is such a big confidence boost for me!)

I've taken a peep at some of your blogs and they're AMAZING! Well done to you all for having such interesting reads.

Bargainfinder - love the pretty style of your blog. Looks friendly and fun. (oh ... love the dog too! Bless.)

Quite a few of us on here have our own blogs but MSE rules mean that we can't openly promote them in our posts because some people sell things on their blogs. This means that none of us can tell you our blog address in our posts even if we're not selling anything.:(

However, if you look to your left and click the user's name (dark blue) and scroll down, you may find a link that says 'visit xxxmnx's homepage' which will redirect you to their blog. [Crafter's wishing to add their own blog address to their profile, click 'User CP' on the green bar above and then under 'Your Profile' click onto 'Edit your details'. From there you can add your blog address where it says 'Optional information' and 'Home Page URL']

Also, you can take a look through this list of UK crafter's blogs: http://www.craftyblogs.co.uk/

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for that Quiksave - i didn't know how to do it!
