Divorce help please!

Hi there, new member here.
I wish to serve divorce papers on my wife. She is refusing to pay towards it and will not give me her address to post them too; she has given me a family member's address via email. We have been separated for 8 years and, as far as I'm concerned, it will be a straight forward and uncontested split.
I don't really want her knowing where I live. Do I have to put my address down on the papers or could I use a family members?
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, welcome to MSE!
If you take a look at https://www.wikivorce.com, you can post your query and receive advice from a number of legally qualified or experienced people.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont take any advice from anyone at Wikivorce!!
They are absolute rubbish!
They will roam these forums trying to intice people to take up their services but in reality they just dont have a clue.
Like the saying goes.. you pay peanuts, you get monkeys!!0 -
I rang the wikivorce helpline quite a bit whilst I was doing my DIY divorce. (didn't pay for services) The phone line just offers advice, they aren't to be used in place of solicitors but they do have a decent knowledge of the processes and the content required for the forms, It all went smoothly and their advice was helpful so I wouldn't write them off too quickly.
The forums can be helpful too as you can learn a bit from the experience others have had with the divorce process.
If you pay for their services you do get access to qualified legal people. I was considering using them for the consent order but read a couple of bad reviews and it put me off. I found a local solicitor who has done it for a fixed fee instead.0
