I was just trying to find out for him if you have to match the contribution in each, if you only have to put a min of £1500, then it might be very worthwile if you have large lump sum to put in the bond at 7.81%. Some how I don't think that is the case as everyone would be doing it wouldn't they? yes you effectively right off the £1500 for 3 years, but at least he won't spend it!
