watering of plants when on holiday
Hi all - I have a small yard that I would like to grow some veg in, in pots. I am going away for the first two weeks in June and have nobody to be able to water them while I am away. What veggies can be planted from mid June onwards, or alternatively, does anyone know of a cheap/free method of ensuring potted plants recieve water while unattended? Thanks.

I use a Hozelock timer on external tap. The irrigation 'kits' are quite cheap on Ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HOZELOCK-2705-AC1-Water-Timer-Micro-Irrigation-Kit-/1606193868820

there are loads of cheaper versions of the hozelock kits. But I agree thats the best way forward.
If you leave planting or buying plants until mid june all of the best stocks would have sold out.0
