Parking from G24 whilst working!!

Hi all,

New to this forum just want some advice as to whether I should contest a parking fine from g24 for a 30 min overstay.

I parked my company car on a retail park as my job involves visiting retail stores and I visit this particular one 2-3 times a month and usually leave within the allocated time. (Lease company forwarded notice to me by the way)

Now, I am quite sure and plan to double check that G24s sign with its t&cs refers only to customers. As I was not a customer and was working would this be a plausible line of contention.

As for proof of working, I have my company badge and I was signed into the store's visitor book on the day in question.

Would this work? Thanks for reading.

you can always try mitigation but it rarely works

have a read of this thread

now because its a company car you need your company or leaseholder to write and give details of the driver (you) so they no longer remain liable

then you get the pcn in your own name and appeal it in the usual way , including poor signage, no contract , not a gpeol, also the details you mentioned in post #1

what you dont want here is them chasing your company or the leasing company causing you grief , so you need a pcn in your own name and address

you should also get the store or landowner to get the pcn cancelled too
