Thanks for all your replies. Initial thoughts:
roboform (rather than robotform?) - the website seems to promote how it will do everything automatically. There's no mention of a master password. I haven't read everything on the website, but I kind of get the feeling it would do things automatically for anyone else using my computer too, which is no good at all.
Cryptoexpert - "CryptoExpert 2005 Liteis a free on the fly hard drive encryption software. Has ability to create encrypted files vaults up to 20 Mb ins ize ". This introduction is full of typos and I can't understand it. Haven't read further.
KeePass - talks about a master password, which is what I'm expecting. Think I'll look into this further.
