UKPC Parking Ticket help please

Hi all,
I recently travelled up to Scotland and then went to park in Mcdonalds car park. Had a breakfast then relaxed and fell asleep. I was in the carpark for almost 3 hours in total. Got me going in at 7am and leaving at 10am.
It was the entry and exit cameras and they have taken a picture of the times entering and leaving. Obviously this is totally unacceptable wanting this amount of money (£100 now)
We live in England and the ticket was issued in Scotland, does this make any differences?
Help please.
Cheers

The incident was in Scotland, so the advice is get a large waste paper basket and relax. Follow the above for Scotland which is that as registered keeper you have no liability, no obligation to inform them who was driving so there is no need to do anything side from letting them waste their money.0

UKPC have a contract with the DVLA to allow them access to the keeper details. Part of it says:
Does your charge notice contain the bits in bold?C2.1. Where the Customer is seeking to recover payment relating to parking on private land in Scotland or Northern Ireland, the Customer shall include in its first written correspondence with the registered keeper of the vehicle:
a) a statement of the Reasonable Cause under which the subject’s Data was provided to the Customer by the DVLA;
b) a statement as to whether the Customer’s right to seek payment of the parking charge for unauthorised parking of the vehicle on the land on the relevant date is as owner of the land, on the basis of a contractual right to occupy or to have possession of the land, or acting as agent of the landowner;
c) an explanation that the Data was provided to the Customer to enable the Customer to identify the driver of the vehicle on the relevant date and to seek payment by the driver of the unpaid parking charges;
d) details of the complaints procedures by which a Data Subject can notify the DVLA and the Information Commissioner if they believe their datahas been used inappropriately.
If not, complain to the DVLA that UKPC are in breach of the KADOE contract between the DVLA and UKPC, and have thus requested (and got) your details without reasonable cause, and you demand they investigate. This is a direct contract between UKPC and DVLA, so don't allow any brush-offs regarding the BPA Ltd.0
