Hi,

1. A couple of years ago I asked a company to apply for PPI on my behalf, I cancelled them a couple of days later. I then applied for PPI myself a few weeks later.
About 8 weeks later, I received a letter stating a refusal had been sent to the PPI company. I never received any notification from this company. I wrote to the bank to ask for a copy of the refusal but have not received any response. Can I re apply for PPI?

2. I applied on line for a credit card with capital one. I didn't realised I was paying PPI. I have been told that as I applied on line I wouldn't receive anything. Is this still the case?

1, You only get one bite at the cherry, you have been refused. Did you get any confirmation from the PPI company acknowledging your cancellation. Do you have copies of your letter of termination to them.


2. If you had PPI on a credit card, it would have been listed seperatly on every monthly statement you received from your cc company, so cant see how you didn't notice it.


On line, they are correct, you were not advised, so no miss selling there. Miss bought, rather than miss sold.
