Newlyn - court action pending

I received a ticket back in mid Aug and have been ignoring all post received from Newlyn - haven't appealed or done anything with the charge
today I received a letter from Newlyn stating that court action is pending if I ignore this letter
how true is this and should i keep on ignoring? I've checked the site and they have no photographic proof on the claim but they mention processings in country court may be initiated and CCJ's may be enforced if I don't pay within 14 days
i've tried searching google but couldn't find much for this type of letter
thanks

its just a debt collector letter, they cannot take you to court
have a read of this thread you missed https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822
the CREDITOR may take you to court, so the landowner or his legally appointed agent, but only them
use the forum search tool and the word NEWLYN and loads of hits come up0 -
ok thanks so if I receive a letter from in my case NCP then I should take it seriously
Also do they need photo evidence to back up their claim - assume they don't0 -
any evidence they need in court they will have to provide in the court papers exchange between yourselves and at the live court case as well
this could include authority to bring a court claim in the first place (locus standi)
if they dont have that, the rest is irrelevant as the judge would throw it out, or you ask them to do so
thats the point about a court case, it is there that any evidence would have to be presented , until then its a parking charge invoice , in this case one you have ignored, hence the debt collector letters, even though you didnt sign for any debts or credit agreements
so court is where you battle it out (as some have already done)
but ignore is not a good option for england and wales, because if the PPC is in the bpa you use popla, IPC ones are slightly different
but its definitely all explained in the NEWBIES - READ THIS thread, with various links and templates and advice
also the LBCCC sticky thread too (if you get one)0
