Hi guys,
I was wondering if any of your bargain hunters knew of a cheap way to get to Plymouth from Manchester tomorrow please?
Prices I am being quoted at £150 on train and its far too much.

You can't get by train to Plymouth at the moment due to the damage in Dawlish. it will cost you £67 to Fly from Manchester to Exeter tomorrow Dep 8.45 Arr 9.50 then the stagecoach bus to Exeter bus station change to the X38 for the bus to Plymouth ( £7.50 for an day explorer)0

The bus from Exeter airport is number 56: it runs about once an hour. A taxi into town costs around six pounds, and the time saved could be worth the money.
The X38 is horribly slow: National Express run a far faster service between Exeter and Plymouth. You can pick it up from a stop by the motorway, close to the airport, if you are willing to get there by taxi.0 -
Hitch hike

I've not seen any in ages but saw two separate ones this morning, I would have obliged but I was on my bike and the head wind was bad enough as it was
You used to see it a lot before everyone got scared of each otherChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
Yes, it's such a shame really. We used to be able to give someone a lift and not even think they may kill us and steal the car...........0
