Is there any way to tell if my wireless keyboard is faulty or not?
I have a Logitech Deluxe 650 Cordless keyboard and mouse.
The mouse works OK but the keyboard has stopped working.
I have changed the batteries, and the batteries work in another keyboard, but the keyboard won't work.
Since there are no lights or anything on the keyboard I can't tell if it is faulty or just not connecting.
There are no drivers for this keyboard on the Logitech site, it uses Windows drivers.
I tried using the keyboard to see if I could get into the BIOS but my computer just continued into Windows 8.1 so it's not Windows.
I even took it to a friend and tried it on her computer, did not work there.
Any solutions or known problems with that keyboard or will I have to buy a new keyboard?

Sounds faulty to me, especially as you have tried it on a different machine and it still doesn't work and assuming it's been problem free in the past.
Maybe worth contacting Logitech?I don't want to achieve immortality through my work, I want to achieve it through not dying0 -
I'm not familiar with the 650, but have you tried the pairing procedure (if it's got one)?
Normally it's a case of pressing the button on the receiver, then the button on the keyboard within a set time, the logitech site should be able to walk you through it.
Also check the contacts on the battery compartment are not loose (one of my mice suffers from that, but it's 4 years old and easily fixed).
If that doesn't work give logitech a ring or email, as if it's still under warranty (usually 3 or 5 years for logitech keyboards), their CS is usually on the far side of awesome(you do tend to pay a little more for logitech compared to some brands, but the CS usually backs it up).

Wireless USB keyboard may not be able to access BIOS on default Bios settings .
As above pairing can be a bit hit and miss.0 -

I am aware of that, however it worked previously on that computer.
To clarify.
Switched computer off, went to work, came home 9 hours later and switched computer on, keyboard did not work, changed batteries still did not work.
How can I tell if the keyboard is faulty or even the receiver since the mouse works?
Is there a fuse or something in the keyboard that could have fused?I'm not familiar with the 650, but have you tried the pairing procedure (if it's got one)?
Of course.0
