Hi
Can someone recommend some decent in ear earphones around £70?
Not klipsch, my second pair died after 3 years with connection issue on one ear & klipsch don't want to know
Seen ones on what hifi, but there's conflicting reviews when checking amazon
Don't have to be wireless, something with a warm, rich sound & decent bass for mp3
Cheers

I'm going to be selling a pair of Sony one's for £7 on Ebay, but I think you are looking round the £70 mark. These work perfect, I am only selling them because they irritate the exzema in my ears, and have only been worn once. Their RRP was £14.99 from Maplins.0

I've got a couple of pairs of Shure in-ears (I lost one pair, replaced them, and then two years later they turned up in the bottom of a suitcase I hadn't used for two years). The second pair are rather out of your price range, and the first pair are long out of production, but if you can run to an extra twenty quid, the SE215 is probably well worth looking at.

do they do some 'normal' easy insert ones

Shure are excellent. I use EC-4s as monitors.
Alternatively, within your price range, seinheissers are good.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?

I think all the shure stuff has the cable running around your ear. I find it much better: stays in your ear, cable doesn't get in the way. Takes a bit of getting used to, I guess.0 -
I struggle with the idea of spending a lot of money on decent headphones only to use them to play mp3 files which in audio terms is a dreadful format.
Don't get me wrong, I'm no audio snob as 99% of my listening is mp3 but I use a pair of in ear Sony phones that cost £24 and find them excellent.
I have a really expensive pair of headphones, and speakers, at home that I use to listen to my collection of DDD CDs but I can't remember the last time I used them.
I either have the iPod in my pocket or it's in the dock at home playing crappy mp3 through the expensive speakers because it's easier than putting the CD in the player.
Note to self: Listen to some proper, quality, music tonight. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
I know, but even at varying price points, that 'mp3 track' sounds very different, not to mention bass, depth & tone, or build quality.
Sony have been doing this for yonks, which is why yours sound decent & haven't broken yet.
I bought my klipsch s2 5year ago for £39.99 & that was 'arm and a leg' to me. They broke after 2years & klipsch replaced them with the updated model, which broke after 3years. But my dab radio outlasted both, so can't understand why they broke with sparing use.
Hence I want to stump up a bit more for Wellbuilt & decent quality this time.0 -
Google these,
soundmagic e10.
They sound fantastic and you can hear why they have won awards.

Fair enough.
Have you had a at the senheiser ones?
I know several people who swear by them and they've had the same pair for ever. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0
