Well, I confirmed I didn't want the damn thing from them and to get my money back, rather than re-arranging a delivery for a different day.
As for why they would cancel? Exactly. I said I *might* have to cancel, but called back 5 minutes later to confirm that everything was fine and somebody would be in.0 -

Basically, yes. I could've dealt with that, if they'd made an effort to sort things out and to admit their error. But instead they accused me and my wife of lying and were, as the title says, rude and incompetent and were not interested in doing anything.0
