Well, nothing turned up after waiting in last Friday for the new box! Finally managed to get through on the phone on Monday. Went through exactly the same thing again. This time I asked to speak to the supervisor or manager but they were 'off sick'. So asked for a refund as box is useless. Told that they need to collect box first and there is a charge for collection.
So I refused to pay for collection and asked when it would be. So I was told it needs to be raised as a task and someone will contact me within 2 - 5 days!! Having refused to get off the phone until something was sorted. The customer service chap said there was nothing more that he could do - he had raised a task so his job was done. Tried in vain to speak to someone in charge - the chap told me he wasn't going to get himself into trouble for me and why should I queue jump! In the end he politely told me he was now going to end the call! At least a polite way of hanging up on me!!
So the saga continues... Don't really know where to go now. Perhaps a letter!

I ordered a childs swing back in March, and changed my mind within the alloted 7 days. Phoned up to arrange collection and was told it would cost me £23. I said I'd use Royal Mail, but they advised against it saying that if I used their courier service it would be insured. Took the courier 12 days to come and collect it, and we're now in the middle of July and I'm still waiting for my money back. Phoned 4 times and kept on hold for 30+ minutes each time (good job they have an entry on saynoto0870.com). Each time I finally get to talk to someone I'm told that the matter will be passed on to accounts and that I'll get my money within 3-5 working days.
Finally gave up and wrote a letter. Sent it recorded delivery saying that they had 14 calendar days to refund me or it's the courts. Surprise, surprise they've ignored the letter, so it looks like I'm going to have to initiate legal proceedings. If anyone has any advice as to how I should proceed it would be appreciated because I've never had to do this before.0 -

I think the type OP means are a hard plastic, they do shatter quite easily if dropped or had a weight put on them.
Builder friend of mine managed to drop one off the back of his truck ones and it smashed into a zillion little pieces!0 -
