Hi. Posted this in the 'wrong thread' but think it's probably best here;
I need to get a wall clock for the kitchen - doesn't need to be fancy or expensive but must have dual time display
i.e. - digital clock display (12 hr clock - e.g.: 12:56pm) and analogue display - the big and and little hand.
and also musn't be too small
i.e.- someone with minor short sightenness could read it from a few feet away.
Glow in the dark numbers would be a bonus but not essential.
Any ideas where I can get one? Both on high street or internet would be fine. Thanks!..........and a slightly belated;

Yes, something very much like that. That's the only one and hence best I've seen.
It displays the day too, bonus!!!Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -
^^ There's no digital clock on that one though, just the month, day number and day-of-week.0

Last time I was in John Lewis they had loads of wall clocks on display.
Something like this;

Okay, realised my initial requirements probably aren't going to happen. Unless you go into the ridiculous take advantage of people price range (£100+).
So, 2nd best option; Need a radio controlled clock (i.e. - one that will update automatically during the bi-annual time changes GMT-BST).
That displays the day of the week (Mon-Sun)

That's almost there I think. Though I should have emphasised wall clock rather than table-top bedside. Though that one is definitely worth considering for bedroom use.
Ps - At the risk of derailing my own thread - does anyone have any idea why the pictures of the items newer show up on my screen when using the Argos site? They show up in the list format when you do a 'generic search' but when I click on the item itself to get a closer look they disappear.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -
I'm not sure about the dimensions but the one I've got is big enough for a wall clock (and can be hung on a wall), and looking at the picture on the argos website the one I linked to looks the same size - if you don't find anything else it might be worth going to argos and asking to see it to see what you think.0

Can you ask to see stuff in Argos?
I've always thought that (not being able to see most of the products up close) was one of the downsides of catalogue shopping.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0
