£111 per month on mobile and £78 per month on TV - I think I would be looking for far bigger savings than a few percent cashback!0

Cheaper mobile contract - I have 250voice + unlimitedTxt + 1Gb data for £10
Even my daughter manages on a £10 per month contract!
Do you need three contracts?
As for TV, between Freeview HD and various free catchup services why bother with a premium TV service. Or for more movie content etc Netflix @5.99 a month. Sport - spend your savings down the local sports bar?0 -

i have netflix too.
thanks for trying to save me money but really my post is not about saving money, if i was struggling to make ends meet then yes i would cut back on things, until then please don't worry yourself about trying to save me money.
for your info though the £78 per month for tv also includes fibre optic broadband and landline.
at the end of the day as i have previously stated my post is not about making cutbacks it was about getting the cashback from santander.
many thanks
as far as i am concerned my original question has been answered and i will not be bothering to look at this thread anymore0 -

I guess you are not looking any more, but I think you missed the point - getting cash back is good, but getting the best deal for the service you want is the first step. It is not about cutting back but getting the best value for the service you really need. I still cannot believe you have got best value at those prices for mobile, TV and FO BB.0 -
As you rightly say, it is about getting the best value, which isn't necessarily the cheapest, or the one that you or I might choose or prefer. Value is in the eye of the bill payer and it is quite alright for somebody to spend or burn as much of their money as they like. This wasn't a debt free wannabe thread, and the OP has made it abundantly clear they are not looking for advice on shaving money off their bills.I guess you are not looking any more, but I think you missed the point - getting cash back is good, but getting the best deal for the service you want is the first step. I am out, too.0 -

I ask since my broadband and gas provider aren't listed on the cashback checker on the website and I've just transfer the Direct Debits for them to Santander 123.
I send a secure message via the website, and santander have added daligas and aa.net.uk. Its not showing on their website checker yet, but it paid correct cashback this month.0 -

You don't know that without knowing the ins and outs of the OP's life.
I have 2 x £30 ish O2 contracts (In fact - I don't even know how much they are exactly) which are for iPhones. They were the best deal that gave me what I wanted at the time, and they include an element of discount. There's 2 of us, so 2 contracts. I would not be happy with what I can get for £10 a month, so that is not a money saving option for me without an element of compromise, as it is not what I want. I don't need to save any more money than I do at the minute, so I don't need to cut back. Cashback would be nice though... I imagine the OP is in a similar place.
I also spend £70 a month on TV/Internet/Phone. Freeview is not an option for me, I don't have any aerial ports in my apartment. Netflix doesn't offer me enough options, nor does any other streaming service. So I pay for Virgin. Again, there is no option to get what I need/want for a lower price, so there is no viable money saving option.
While you may be happy with cheaper options, the OP evidently isn't and I can empathise with that. I have the money available to spend, so why shouldn't I. I save sufficiently etc etc and live comfortably. I have what I want, I have the best deal for what I want, and getting cashback on that makes it an even better deal.0
