Congratulations tricky-Vic
Keepersgirl - still early days, keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Princess Kate - I have a crazy urge to test even though I know we have no chance whatsoever this month! Might have to POAS purely to shut myself up - at least I bought loads of ICs to content myself with! I'm definitely into the loopiness already Princess Kate - I hadn't figured on my impatience making this so difficult - not knowing is so frustrating! I wanted to buy my first ever test today, but OH convinced me to wait til Tuesday. Glad I'll be busy over the weekend and can try to forget about the wait!
tricky-vik - Great news - congratulations!:j
TTC39 - Will be thinking of you tomorrow - sorry to hear your news0 -

Hello all.
Well I've not been posting for a few weeks as I decided to take a step back from our active TTC as I was finding it a bit much when other people kept announcing they were pregnant (in real life - not here). We've had a month of NTNP and I think its done me the world of good. I was so busy and so tired my last fertile week that we didn't even manage to DTD at the right time and it didnt bother me as we were not 'actively' trying and again CD1 on wed this week came as no surprise (except that it was a bit early!) so I wasn't upset. However, I'm ready to get back into it and would love to get pregnant over the next few months. I'm CD4 tomorrow and my plan is to use OPKs from about CD9 in order to reassure myself I am actually ovulating as I've only had a positive once! Will give that a go for a bit anyway and if I never get a pos will deal with it then. Need to try and take my own advice and relax!!
Hope you all have a lovely Easter - hubby and I are away for a few days next week which I'm really looking forward to and also got some lovely plans with good friends coming up too so need to enjoy life the way it is and not get too caught up on the baby train!0 -
Nicky Noo Na it just takes over, doesn't it?! I find myself thinking about it all day every day, and I'm even finding that I can't switch off at night
I started talking to the hubby about cycle days/ovulation/implantation etc and he told me to stop going on about it and getting worked up. I was upset with him to start with because he seems fine to DTD and talk about it when it suits him, but now I've had a sulk I've realised he's right,he just could have phrased it a bit betterI'm getting so het up with it all and it's taking over everything. The spotting I've had looks like it's going to be AF so now it seems I'm out for this month I'm just going to *try* and keep my mind off it for the forseeable future. I went for a lovely long run this evening which helped clear my head, so I'm going to be thinking positive thoughts for next month and we will wait and see what happens
She says... I'm sure I'll be on here before long going on again!!
I hope you all have a lovely Easter, sending positive thoughts and wishes to you all xxx0 -
Only just catching up. So sorry ttc39, what a horrible thing to happen. Have they mentioned investigating any cause?
Afm - after a few months of 30+ day cycles, ive just had a 26-27 day one. I used to be 28 days like clockwork too. I have no clue what's going on.

Thanks for good wishes all , Yesterday was a long day, got to hospital for ten and didn't leave till after 8
They didn't want me to go home as I was in a lot of pain and had heavy bleeding but don't appear to have passed anything .. Got scan on Wednesday . Had to have a pessary Last night and got anti biotics to take 2 times a day for next 7 days .
Bleeding heavy but no pain today .
Will need to go get some more thick towels from boots later .
Have got forms to have hubby and my blood taken and sent to oxford for chromosomal tests and should be referred to specialist ..although using online docs at mo I can't get appt before 1st May!
I will try to get one next week over phone , might be better.
Will be glad when bleeding stops, feels yucky.

TTC39 I hope you are resting up and taking things easy, yesterday sounds awful. I hope they can give you some answers, and hopefully a quick appointment - 1st May isn't too far off now.0
