Maddy I haven't tested yet, purely because I'm so sure that it'll be bfn yet again, the joys of an irregular cycle! For this reason too I don't use ov predictor stick things, it could cost a fortune as some of my cycles are 40+ days.
Having said that if I still feel like this at the weekend I may be tempted to test.

Ok so I'm coming on here for a bit of a mope I'm afraid.

I used OPKs this month starting at CD11 (I'm CD17 today) and they were all negative. My cycles have been 26-28 days the last 4 months so definately should have ovulated by now and got a positive bang on CD14 last month. When I got my positive last month I used fmu which I now know you are not supposed to and it can give you a false pos so now I'm worried I don't actually ovualte (despite my regular cycles). I also read in the paper today that women who are born prematurely as babies have twice as much chance of infertility and I was born 8 weeks early so now I'm worried we're going to have serious problems!

Then things this afternoon did start to take the p*ss - a lady at work announced her pregnany. I'm actually really pleased for her but she told me she has really irregular cycles and the pregnancy was a bit of a surprise plus her and her partner were on the verge of breaking up a year ago. Then after work I met hubby and he told me someone at his work announced her pregnancy today and one of his male colleagues also told him his girlfriend is pregnant - and both of these are SECOND babies which were both planned and happened exactly when wanted - arggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I really thought I would be the next person to announce in both of our works but actually it might take along time or just never happen for us!!!

I'm probably being completely irrational and maybe it will happen soon as we've only been trying 5 months now but SERIOUSLY - 3 announcements off people IN ONE DAY who clicked their fingers and it happened - just makes me worry and I'm feeling quite upset. How soon can you get tests with a GP - will they just dismiss me until we've been trying a year??

I've tried to up my chances - I don't smoke, I've got a healthy BMI, I've given up alcohol, I avoid caffeine, hubby takes vitamins, I take vitamins, I make sure I get my five a day etc what more can I do? We also try and BD every other day over my 'fertile week' If I don't ovulate its all a bit pointless!

Oh Nicky what a rubbish day :-( .You might have just missed ovulation somehow, doesn't mean it hasn't happened.

I know what you mean about people who just seem to get pregnant like that. It took me a year with first and we are 7 months in this time. Am mega jealous of those who fall pregnant quickly.

Talking about ovulation. I am still waiting but seem to ovulate around day 17/18 of a 29 day cycle which seems quite late to me. Hoping this isn't causing me problems.

Nicky try not to stress! If its getting on top of you maybe take a ttc break? I did and we NTNP for a month and it was nice to not be thinking about ttc for a whole month..

Nothing new for me, I think I'm 3dpo going by cm but not sure otherwise :/ managed to bd 3 times during fertile week so hopefully in with a chance..I am peeing loooads today and hoping maybe that's a sign?? My mum says that's how she knew she was pregnant but I didn't really have this symptom til later on so not sure..fx!

    Hello ladies

I've been very naughty and tested early as I've had extremely sore boobs and been feeling strangely nauseous since yesterday. Just done a superdrug own and it came up with a line straight away! Faint but definitely there. It's still very early so whispering a tentative BFP! And will keep my fingers crossed its gonna stick!

Eek! Husband is also away until Friday so am going to wait until then before telling and hope AF doesn't appear this weekend.

Just lurking - you can buy really cheap ones from home health/amazon. No need to buy the expensive ones that you see on the high street. I had irregular cycles but got pregnant using them. If you have regular cycles you don't really even need them, they are perfect for ladies with crazy cycles! :)
