Congrats to ALL for the BFPs

OH and I are both dying of the plague (read a mild cough, but we're both complete wimps about being sick) so no bd-ing for us. Hopefully should be better by the time I'm OV, but he's been sick for easily a month now (with various different things), so I don't hold out much hope for him.... oh well... I'll just jump him no matter how ill he's feeling :rotfl:

Oh MrsP hope you both feel better soon!

Ovia has me down to ovulate next wednesday, for some reason it thinks I have a 5 week cycle! I think it should be at the end of this week so will BD as much as I can!

  • Hope you don't mind me joining the thread.

5th month of trying here, today is CD4

I'd be particularly interested to hear from anyone who (or their OH) works away from home Monday-Friday... so BD is a weekend only event!
    MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.
  • Quiet in here at the moment. Hope that means everyone is off making super sticky BFPs!!

Congratulations Rebecca Palmer and welcome to the mad house MortgageReductionNovice, hope your stay here is short, in the nicest possible way! I have no experience of OH working away but hopefully someone who does will come along soon to share their experiences.

AFM no change really. CD 11 since miscarriage and BBT still all over the place. Ho hum

    Anybody due to POAS soon?
  • Not sure anyone's at POAS time yet. We all seem to have synced like a bunch of crazy ladies living together :-D

I need to start temp monitering, but it's so cold in the mornings, also I'm so lazy.

Starting a new job next week (my contract finishes at the current one the end of this week) - going away for a family funeral this weekend, oh and I'm probably due to be OV then -.- nothing like everything happening all at once. (Also, nothing like a funeral to set the mood...) -.-

    Hi Girls,

All quiet on my front AF is here with a vengeance and no warning. Was hoping i'd catch first time - highly unlikely after 9 years on BC but wishful thinking.

Ah well least I can have a drink over Christmas.

I'm trailing behind everyone at the mo as i'm only CD4

Hi MortgageReductionNovice hope you have a very short stay here! My DH doesn't work away but he works a 6 week rolling rota which includes days/afternoons/nights/weekends etc(railway).. whereas I work a 9-5 so we are like passing ships sometimes.

Have distracted myself this week by putting my tree up not due to Ov till Xmas eve so fingers crossed.
  • Congratulations for all the bfp's girls :T CD13 for me, although we are bd'ing every other day I sort of want to enjoy Christmas! This is still my first proper cycle off BC, would I still get EWCM if I wasn't going to ovulate? Still trying to understand my body!
  • Well it's 12dpo for me today, AF due tomorrow and I'm duly expecting her as from lunchtime today I've had horrible AF pains and cramps :(

Least my cycle seems to be back to a reasonable 27 days from the 36 day shocker last month.

Anyone considering temping I would say it's worth the 'hassle' Tho it's not really any hassle, if you get a backlit one which record the temps and keep it by your bed, then you won't even have to open your eyes and barely move to do it! Last cycle temping showed that my body geared up to ovulate three times before it actually did on cd24! If it wasn't for temping I'd have thought I was 10 days late for AF, and not that it took me 10 days later to ovulate (im guessing caused by work stress).

Good luck for anyone in the 2ww, I have been very good no symptom spotting or manic googling, I've been too busy at work :( tho deadline complete so I can focus on the next cycle and 2015!! As my name suggests I love the opportunity fresh starts give- nothing better than a new year :p
