So have done a clear blue digital today and clear blue plus. Both positive. The digital says pregnant 1-2 weeks.. Is this on when I conceived or when I actually ovulated? Just that my periods have been wierd since July and I thought IT would be 2-3 weeks??

Not sure how the digital tests work as I'vd never used them but in pregnancy terms they take it from your last AF so most people are approx 4 weeks pregnant when they find out (depending on length of cycle) so count back in weeks from when u had last AF.
    Hope this makes sense!

I've just done a little Google (lol, I'm trying to.delay getting up and ready for work as much as possible) , the clear blue date is based on conception (according to their website).

    Huge.congrats.on the bfp.
  • Check you out getting brave with a digi Emma! I'm feeling a bit more confident as AF still hasn't arrived, so it's time to buy a digi today :)

I couldn't stand the am I or aren't I! I don't know how you can be so patient!!!!! Good luck and hope you get a big fat positive! Ps looking forward to find out!! Xxx.
  • Congratulations emma!:j

I don't know what's going on with me:mad: On CD 15. I normally get a blazing positive OPK on CD 14. On CD 13 the line started to get darker until it was about half as dark as the control line, then yesterday it disappeared completely and there is still nothing today! I was hoping the B vitamins would bring ovulation forward, now I'm just not sure if I've ovulated or not, maybe with just an incredibly short surge that I missed? I haven't noticed any EWCM so I'm doubtful that I have OV'd. We've been BD'ing every other day since CD6 so hopefully I won't have missed it whatever has happened. So confused!

That's rubbish muso, as long as you're BDing though I can't see you being out for the month. Keep it up (mind the pun) ;)

Definitely not got as many symptoms this month. Had a bit of a weird discomfort moving across my pelvis but that's it. Not really looking for any symptoms as I know my chances of conceiving are very low. I told OH that if he wants a baby he needs to listen to me when I say when is best to do it, and doing it once in the ovulation week is not enough at all. He still thinks that it only takes one time, but doesn't realise that doesn't mean you only have to BD once and it will happen like magic! Oh well, we'll see.

Ha! I'm really not patient at all, been doing ICs since Thursday! (all positive :)) I'm just scared of taking a digi incase my hcg levels aren't high enough to register and it says not pregnant - I'm such a wimp! I've got a pack of 2 now, so I'll try for a 3 hour hold & do one today, then do one with FMU tomorrow.

Maybe your surge was short this month muso? BDing every other day will certainly cover it anyway, so at least you know you haven't missed the boat if you did ov :)

Sorry to hear you're struggling with your OH lulu, they can be so clueless about these things :( I'm still keeping everything crossed for you!

I know what you mean about the digis, Claire. I don't think I would be able to bring myself to do one!!

Thanks for the crossings ;) I've said it before, I understand why OH doesn't get involved and why he prefers to play dumb about it all, it's one of the things that make me scared about getting pregnant. If I'm scared I don't want to know how scared he is!

We will get there eventually, I still don't understand how a 30 year old man turns his nose up to sex on a regular basis though! It's like having a stereotypical wife! :rotfl:
