Huge congratulations Ali. That's fantastic news to start the month.
I hope you're feeling better now jazz.
AFM, I'm not feeling very good about things today. I found a grey hair and have now come to the conclusion that I'm a withered old hag who's eggs have all dried up. :-( I just feel this isn't going to happen for me now since my miscarriage.
    Love to all. X

Biggest hugs honey I think we all feel like that I am Looking age 41 in the eye next month and thinking that it is never going to happen I will never have another forever baby. Xxxxxxx

I could've written this :(. Even my gp said the odds are against me now... I'm actually seriously thinking about adoption as an alternative. I'm sure this has as many, if different, stresses involved, but I'm truly thinking things will not happen another way.

    and Betty,

Ladies, my best friend is 41 and had her dating scan yesterday! She has fallen pregnant naturally and is a bit on the larger side. She will be 42 by the time baby arrives so don't lose hope! X

Can't decide whether to join this thread, we are *supposed* to be starting to try but I'm not really sure that I do want to. I'm also 41. Husband and 3 year old are pestering me, LO wants a brother, sister and a baby!?

AFM. I have my HSG on Wednesday will be CD10 so will start tracking OV the next day, going by my last cycle I'm not expecting anything to happen too soon but want to get into the habit, looks like we'll be going private for Clomid, fingers crossed, so will have to get that appt booked and the results for my HSG & OH SA sent out to me. Does anyone have experience of getting NHS results sent to them? I would guess, especially in fertility cases a lot of people have some things NHS and then change private so I can't see there being a problem in them being sent to me. Don't really want to have to have them done again! Not looking forward to my HSG, made the mistake of reading a bit too much about it I think! Hopefully it won't be as bad as some ladies experiences!

I had an HSG last month and it's not so bad. You go into the room, lie on a table and they insert a speculum to hold you open, then slide a tube in. That hurts like a really bad period cramp but it is only seconds. After that, it's easy. And you get to see your tubes on a screen. Take paracetamol about 30 minutes before, and take a sanitary towel because otherwise they give you a massive hospital pad and nasty disposable mesh knickers. The radiographer said she had to study the results a bit more but it looked ok and she showed me on the screen.

As far as I'm aware, the results get sent to your FS or GP, but pretty sure a private doctor would be able to contact them to retrieve them. You can get them though - one of my doctors gave me a list of the many, many tests I've had.
