Fence blown down

You try lifting those concrete gravel boards and posts - they weigh a ton. A two man job really unless you want a hernia.
I rip out old concrete bases with a power breaker - about £30 for a days hire. that leaves the area clean for planting.
The old posts and boards could be sold to someone as they are about £6 per board and £8 per post minimum. You should get some takers, collection only on a local selling site.
For new hedges expect a certain number to die off and need replacing whatever happens.0 -
I've got hedges at the back and other side of the garden (which face neighbours gardens). How could I identify the type of hedge they are and get a match? Do you think someone like Buckinghamshire Nursery would be able to tell if I emailed them some pictures?
They might... but, if you take some photos, stick 'em up here and we'll tell you (but we might be lying
!). 0
