Hi Guys,
Just had a quote from Coral.
3m x 4.2m All glass Edwardian, Glass Argon filled roof.
With Electric Heater and Power Points
The quote I have been given is 12,450 + £680 for laminate flooring.
I have asked couple of other local companies to come around as well.
Any comments on this quote will be useful.
much thanks

The flooring sounds expensive, can you not have that sourced and fitted yourself? you could get decent tiles for that price.
Where in the country are you? my in-laws just had a 4 by 4m conservatory built from the ground up and it cost a around £15k so yours doesn't sound too unreasonable although I would still get a couple more quotes for comparison.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
Thanks, I will probably get carpets from local supplier/fitter.
I am in West Yorkshire area.
Have used Coral before for doors and windows last year, their quotes were way more than locals but I went with them for peace of mind.Nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. - Alex Supertramp0 -

You're nuts paying this don't do it.
Go on Ebay take a look at the second hand ones on there where people are flogging their old conservatory for silly money as they need rid of them.
You'll get excellent quality some 20k plus ones on there going for between 1.5k and 3k tops.
I've been in the building trade years and I know the company in question will me making around 7k off you for what they say is the best quality when in theory sell is a sell.
A builder will do your base and could put your conservatory up for 2k excluding materials and after buying a decent one off ebay for 3k tops which will get you a really decent one too and a lot bigger you'll save 6k...easy a sparky won't cost no more then £200.
£680 for laminate flooring in a 4x3 conservatory oh my god."You know when it's cold outside when you go outside and it's cold"0 -

I am waiting for couple of local companies to call me back with their quotes.
I may get floor done separately.
I had doors and windows done by Coral and while they did charge me a lot more than others, I cannot fault their work.Nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. - Alex Supertramp0 -
