    Why?

We may be able to think of another way around this problem.

I am buying in apartment in Europe and only £20k short of the full price. If I go for a mortgage there, it would cost me around £5k extra in set up fees, insurance and interest.

I am able to repay these £20k within 12 months.

Be careful some cards only allow you tot withdraw at set percentage or amount of your credit limit.

    Would a loan be better?
