in Credit cards
Hello,
Hope someone can help.
I have just applied for the virgin 0% bt card and been refused. I did the precheck and it said 90% so thought it ok as I have been scared to apply for fear of refusal - and its happened!
I have £2200 on Barclays at 24% and £1200 on MBNA at 9%. Paying minimum amounts on both.
Wanted to shift the Barclays balance so the £65, I pay a month is paying it off.
Did a Experian credit score and got 991 Excellent, no missed payments etc, I am self employed earning £15,000 and hubby £37,000. House mortaged.
Any suggestions what I can do?
Thanks Viks

Completely irrelevant Experian are not lending you the money, the scores you've bought are actually worthless and not seen by the lender.
MBNA issues the Virgin card and see you already have a MBNA card so not 100% sure if this caused the problem."You know when it's cold outside when you go outside and it's cold"0 -

Pretty sure your allowed more then one mbna card as they would normally split the limits between them.0 -
MBNA will allow two cards and they will split limits, but you have to have cleared one card before you can apply for another offer card.0

If you are rejected for an MBNA card, would it be pointless applying to Virgin then if they are the same company?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0
