Parking Eye notice _ Update

There has been posts on this before about Parking eye Fines being handed out for parking in their car park past the allowed length of time.

The advice given was that not to bother with it and to ignore it.

Just thought everyone should know that I followed that advice and today I got my court summons through the post.

The company claiming is ParkingEye LTD.

Anyone had similar experiences?

Errrrmmmm... what do you think? Have you not bothered to read the forum for a whole year? Have you completely missed all the sticky threads at the top of the forum, about the CURRENT advice which is NOT to ignore?

Tell us the whole story or we might think you work for Parking Eye(!) and are trying to bluster that this is something they are bound to win (have you not seen all the court WINS against ParkingEye listed in the NEWBIES advice thread? If you are genuine and have court papers just read the advice already given on other threads - just go back a page or two, read what is said every time about these claims.

Sorry when I first got the claim all I did was Google 'Parkingeye Beehive centre' and I found the thread that said it was scam.

I dot work for parkingeye and am happy to send anyone the claim form that has just come through the post today who would like more evidence.

I will go back now and read the stickys... sorry all I was trying to do was warn a couple of people who might also come across the old thread.

Also just as a side note they say on the claim that they are adding solicitor fee's .. i thought you couldn't claim sols fees if the amount was under £15k which it is..

We know - the typical 'forum rookie' mistake of landing on an OLD thread and actually READING it, not realising you were always ONE click away from page one.

Have you not yet read the 'small claims court' section of the NEWBIES thread, top of the forum? Tells you what to do when, with links.

Then read around to build your defence words & post here (read other PE court claim threads, loads of them here like this one):

Have a read of the Prankster's Guide and get that claim acknowledged, saying you will defend in full. Then it's defence time!

Is there a Retailer on site you can get VERY assertive with about his horrendous harassment?! Got receipts or proof of purchase (Bank Statement)? Start by embarrassing the retailers with a forthright complaint about their agent suing you, on their Facebook page and on Twitter. And if the Beehive Centre has a webpage then contact them NOW, not 'asking if they can help'.

We are talking ASSERTIVE complaint, stand up, dress smartly and have shoes on even if phoning from home!
