Ebay 'collections' new feature?

Was just browsing my shop to check on stock and saw this 'collection' star under my items, when I clicked on it I get this:

Looks like you don't have a collection yet.
Let's create one.

Collections are a way to gather and share things you like, want, or recommend. Start a collection to show off your unique style, or see what others have

Anyone used this feature?

I've never seen that, I wonder if it is possibly another ebay 'upgrade'?

I've got it, and it's driving me nuts

'Saved searches' has been pointlessly renamed 'searches you follow' and 'saved sellers' has been even more stupidly renamed 'sellers you follow' and I have a load of blue wasted space at the top of both of those searches now where's it's urging me to add things to this 'collection' that has randomly appeared and I don't want.

Ebay 'upgrades' are a welcome as a poke in the eye with a very pointy pencil!

Everytime I get an email telling me about 'exciting new features' on ebay I worry what they are going to mess up this time :eek:

I never got an e-mail telling me how excited I'd be - it just happened overnight!

I have horrible feeling they want people to add items to the collections, so they can be 'shared' so random nobodies will be able to start 'liking' your collection....yikes...!

Nooooo. ebay is ebay, if I want people to like things they can jolly well go to facebook and buy there.

It's part of the new search. The idea is they tell you what you want before you know it exists.
They bought something that was a bit like Pinterest, I think. The idea is you build up a portfolio that looks pretty on your home page.
