I'm hoping to have a budget of about £300 MAX . I'm confused on the modern cpu and graphics compared to what i have in trems of performance .
What i have is ok for what i use but i am trying some online gameing and find it struggles a bit . Mainly i play star trek online ans in space battles its laggy .
My 20 year old has a new pc and the game on that is brilliant . Basically dont want to spend £300 and have the same problem .

Thanks

You should change your laptop. both CPU & GPU are weak.
And get desktop if possible. I would suggest you allow £400 for a decent desktop tower.
  • Medion. Great products for as long as they work b-u-t, should you need their "customer service", forget it. Three weeks and waiting. I've read of horror stories 2-months and more to get things sorted so "be warned".

I have had no problems with Medion CS and had quite a few desktops from them, via Aldi with the 3 year warranty (not much gone wrong to be honest, but they came up with the goods when they did). DG

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?
