No, the length of my bankruptcy was three years, and I was discharged in 2010. Back then bankruptcy lasted three years, and it changed to one year a few years ago.0

I believe its just checking names against the bankruptcy register to ensure that the lender hasn't be made bankrupt. Obviosuly a way to pick up anyone who perhaps intentionally omits this info from their application.Black_Eyeliner wrote: »What does a bankruptcy search involve?0
