Ebay item- people keep offering cash for early sale end

What should I do? Im tempted but is it ethical? Also Im guessing the item im selling is more valuable than I realised (could find nothing on google so was unsure of value).

There are 2 bids in- so can I accept an offer and end early or do I hang in and accept natural auction end?

Your choice. But choose the buyer wisely. They make an offer you remove it from sale and they dont pay.

Or they pay by paypal and then say oh I am passing and want to collect leaving you with no seller protection.

I have sold stuff at the current bid price. Thats simple and quick.

The only time I got loads of offers for something was for an ipod nano, the ones that were recalled and could be traded for a brand new ipod. I didn't know. Another e bayer emailed and told me. So if you are getting loads of offers, they know something you don't.

Put a note in your auction listing saying no offers please, or alternatively add a "make an offer" option.

My experience is that usually the offers aren't going to beat the auction price, for instance one time I was selling a rare LP and I had several offers, all of which turned out to be below the end value by over £100. But I once did have one item (a Swatch watch) which I bought at a jumble sale for £1 and a buyer offered me £25, so I took it.

Be wary I once listed a glass vase with no reserve and was unindated by watchers and off ebay requests. Eager wasn't the word, I had people offering to fly in from Europe and collect it which seemed odd as the vase was hideous.

One kind soul sent me an email and advised it was very rare regional glass and was museum quality, he gave me the contact details of the museum, and I struck a deal off ebay with them for a fair price.

Any items I've had offers on have always sold for much more than the offer price, so I always let auctions run, especially when there are bids on it already. I might consider an extremely generous offer if there were no bids however.

I had somebody make me an offer of around £20+ a couple of weeks ago for a collection only item I'd started at £8.99. I was hoping the final auction price would be in excess of £25 & was absolutely flabbergasted when I found it had sold for in excess of £120!
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Ask for payment via bank transfer and end the auction.

Instant money, no risk and no fees to pay.
