Hi,
I have been with my current electricity company for 10 years and they have put up there prices and got rid of the rebate i get each year. I was wondering what this company is like (IsupplyEnergy) has it is showing the cheapest on all searches.
Thanks

Just renewed with them . . . purely because they were STILL less expensive than any alternatives in my area.
I have never had to 'phone them, but reviews say that can be nigh on impossible. Just so long as you know this, it needn't be a problem.
Ever tried phoning an energy company?
I have; not (usually) a good experience.
Communication is usually by a "via-account send-a-message" system; I have used this a few times and found that they respond within two or three days.
Trying to get a refund from overpayment is .... well, troublesome at best.
But hey, read the reviews for other suppliers on here and you'll see that they seem no better.
So.
My advice?
If you just want to use electricity for a good price and don't mind a bit of a "clunky"-looking web account interface, go with it.
Check your meter readings regularly, to make sure you're not overpaying (or underpaying) and IF YOU ARE, hassle them until they correct your payments. :cool:0 -
I have just moved to Isupplyenergy... like the OP said they seemed to be the cheapest supplier in my area. They do seemed to be cheap at 11p/kW and 22p/day SC. As I'm all electric and therefore a high user for 1/3 the year all I look for is the Unit price - end of and ISE seems to be the cheapest out the bunch.
And its good to know I'm not lining the pockets of the big 6!0 -
Who do you imagine they buy their electricity from?
The only reason these start ups are cheap is that with less than 250,000 customers they don't have to contribute to any of the governments green and other eco subsidies. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

Good point, I didn't think of that... I have to say its the first time I have used one of these "start up" suppliers with the idea that as long as I don;t get cut off I can;t see a problem. I keep daily meter readings so going on the basis my energy wont get "cut off" I have a good idea on how much my bill should be and at the ready to argue any discrepancies in usage if needed.0 -
I use imeasure to record weekly energy use. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
