Rejected Again - Lloyds PPI

Hi
im just wondering if anyone else has gone to the Ombudsman after being rejected by Lloyds for thier PPI claim...
This is their 2nd rejection but the letter doesnt answer anything! They quote my 3 reasons to complain then go on to state thier findings but only on point 3 !
I know i didnt ask for PPI and i know i didnt tick the box even though they state it's ticked - they havent provided the evidence
Just looking for other peoples experiences with lloyds - are you also being fobbed off with irrelevant gobbledegook
Time for the FOS?

thanks

The Bank have decided that you don't have a valid complaint and FOS have agreed with them. As the accuser, the onus of proof is upon you. The Ombudsman does not have to send you the evidence which has swayed his adjudication and I'm quite certain the letter they sent you was written in plain English rather than "gobbledegook".

Time to move on from this, you've now exhausted all your avenues of complaint.

Forgetting the evidence side of things - should they quote their findings for all 3 points not just one - and yes it was in 'plain english' im not stupid - however it wasnt relevant to the claim. Is it right to only 'find' on point 3 of a complaint - how about 1 & 2 ?

Was this a loan, what were the 3 reasons you gave for mis sell and what was point 3 the bank answered?.

Its a Credit Card. The 3 points they state i quoted in my complaint were
    1. Before i purchased the PPI i was not advised clearly about its significant limitations and exclusions
    2. I was not advised of the main features, exclusions or limitations of the PPI policy.
    3. I was not asked if the PPI Policy was suitable for me.
they have only attempted to answer point 3 stating there is no evidence. My very solid point is that i wasn't asked if i even wanted it. In fact i didn't even want the card - they did the hard sell with that - over the phone unfortunately. but i remeber it very well.

    You sent , I assume, the complaint you originally sent to Lloyds in October 2012;

i have concluded my objections were weak. i stated i was not advised of other cheaper products and that i didnt know i had PPI.
As you said back then , your complaint was weak and was never likely to be upheld by the Bank or the Ombudsman.

You really should have given up after the initial refusal, it was very obvious the Ombudsman would not uphold your complaint and you were told this back in 2012

It is you who needed to provide evidence of mis-sale, but everything you said was unproveable "hearsay".

    Time to move on..

I would never take PPI out after a bad experience with a previous loan / redundancy and the PPI not being worth the paper it was written on.
Positivity would be nice after all its little old me against the banks. Morally i need to pursue this

There is nothing to pursue, your complaint has been rejected at every turn and you cannot take it any further...

Over on the TV board they sometimes accuse me of working for Sky, but the answer is that I don't work for either-I just tell it how it is…

For the final time, you must now move on from this (as you were told by others in 2012)

You have nowhere left to be spurred to.

You haven't been able to prove you didn't want it or need it, so your complaint has been rejected.
