Well I have just had a meeting with my manager and now it seems I cannot go back to my job at all. The reason being that
    a) I cannot do the sleepovers with me still breastfeeding and my baby not sleeping through.
    b) I have no breaks at all while working as I am a lone worker and alsothey cannot provide somewhere safe and private for me to express milk.
So now all I can do is sit and wait for work to phone me and see what happens now.
Thank you for all comments, even though I don't agree with all,I do still appreciate them.

    Hi

Nursery isn't compulsory, with 3 weeks to go if you are having problems with childcare arrangements, personally I'd just take her out early. I'm also confused why you can't do sleepovers if your OH will be at home anyway  . You will have the issue with breastfeeding whatever time you work. I'm pretty sure when I had youngest some breastfeeding mums returning to work, found that certain bottles/teats were better than others, though I don't remember which. Worth asking about.

If you can only take the 7.5 hour job or not return right now, what about asking your mortgage provider if they will allow reduced payments/ a break for a few months, till your problems are resolved

While you are waiting for work to call you back it might be worth you phoning the HSE on 08701 545500, or the EOC on 0845 601 1733, and seeing where you stand.

I also think that if work cannot offer your old job back to you because you are breastfeeding, then those earlier threads I found might be relevant. However, I think you would have to be willing to go back to that job rather than on reduced hours, because it's YOUR job they have to keep open, not a job like your job, if that makes sense.
