in Credit cards
I purchased a holiday (flights, hotels, transfers etc.) through a travel company and paid a deposit of just over £1000 on credit card. There is just under £2500 balance remaining.
Is there any advantage in paying the rest by CC and paying 2.5% surcharge or should I just pay the rest off by visa debitcard?
The company has sent me an ATOL certificate.

I woke up last night to find the ghost of Gloria Gaynor standing at the foot of my bed.

Is there any surcharge for payment by debit card?
I think that will answer your question.0 -

Depends what your CC offers - if it offers cashback/points etc and the value is greater than 2.5%, then yes, there's your advantage (unlikely, but possible, if you're on an introductory 5% or something which you might not otherwise max out).0
