I really think you should review your people skills. My problem is not that 'you didn't tell me what I wanted to hear' it was the judgemental/patronising way you have expressed your opinion.

I am an adult and full time working mother with a good idea of how life works thank you.

There may not have been an urgent need to use a subprime lender had natwest not have recorded incorrect info on my file which I wasn't aware of at the time!

When I used the word perseverance I didn't mean I will make continuous applications. I am well aware of the affect credit searches have on your file.

And lastly, your comment regarding mumsnet hugs Hun site just reinforces my opinion that you are judgemental and patronising I'm afraid. Some compassion and consideration for people's circumstances wouldn't go a miss, along with the realisation that many people on here may act on and base very important decisions on your comments.
  • If people base decisions on what people on a forum say then they are foolish.

Even brokers on the mortgage boards have disclaimers.

Like I said in my original post. YOU NEED to speak to a broker.

In MY OPINION as a Joe ordinary poster (I've never said otherwise). You are going to struggle with a mortgage application.

I think pretending you won't, or pretending that the things you've posted aren't an issue, as you seem to think. It would actually be detrimental.
