Help with faulty buggy

i purchased a brand new travel system from a local baby shop in feburary 2013 we didnt start using it untill June 2013. In October the travel system broke with the handle breaking we took it back to the shop and the shop sent it for repair. Now the travel system has broke again exaxclty the same piece has broken am i entitled to a refund due to it not being fit for purpose and last a Reasonable length of Time as the lady in the shop told me i wouldnt be able to get a refund because its nothing to do with her

What make is it?
It is something i think you will have to take up with the manufacturer at this point.0 -

The manufacturer has no obligation to help unless they offered a warranty. The retailer is the only one with any obligation to help. As it is more than 6 months since purchase they may require you to get an independent report stating the fault is inherent before they help.0

Sorry i obviously was incorrect...i have had several probelms with prams through the years and aways found the retailers were useless as the problems were always after the 6 months..i got all problems sorted by going straight to the manufacturer, i actually had a double Chicco buggy years ago that developed a fault and they immediately replaced the buggy...was a few years ago though.
At the moment Cosatto seem to have the best customer service and a 4 year gaurantee.0 -
Well the manufacturer certainly might help and its always worth asking, but they might also charge for it. If they refuse to help there isn't much you can do to make them.0
