Barclaycard blocked when PAYG topped up

Just buy a sim card for Ovivomobile. One off payment of £20.00 & then you get 250mins, 300texts & 500g data every month (or till they go bust)
All you need is an unlocked mobile.0 -
Barclays are well known for rejecting small payments on credit or debit cards as fraud prevention methods. It is a pain in the backside for mobile top up, but if they reject the payment, you need to phone up the fraud department and talk to them who will authorise the transaction and ask you to try again in 15 minutes.
The best way around this problem is either buy your top up at a convenient time where you can go through the whole fraud department rigmarole or switch payment method.
To be fair though, Barclays are fantastic at detecting and preventing fraud. It's a pain but if your account ever does come under attack you will be in good hands.0
