Apcoa parking fine help please

Hi, I work in a hospital for the nhs and when I finished my shift the other day I found a fine on my windscreen.
I pay £20 per month to park which comes straight out of my wages.
As usual there were no spaces on the staff car park so I parked on the edge of the road behind a space on the hospital site, there were no signs anywhere stating that I couldn't park there, there were no double yellow lines and I wasn't causing any obstruction at all. I have photographic evidence of where I was parked and I have seen cars parked in that same spot all the time without getting fined, also there is a signature strip on the ticket where the attendant is supposed to sign but hasn't, can anyone please help me as to where i stand with this. Thanks in advance.

You stand in the same position as all the other posters on this forum who have recently got a private 'fake PCN' and as long as this is England/Wales, you appeal the first Notice that will arrive in the post in due course (NTO or NTK). For acronyms explained, and how to appeal and when, read the linked info thread and then ask any questions after that. You do not appeal this windscreen ticket as that gives away the driver (don't). Wait and appeal as KEEPER when the letter arrives, not saying 'I parked' nor 'I showed my permit' or anything similar and not showing any photos of the day - see the info thread for an explanation as to why this is best.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
