Difficulty with opening docs. in Word 2010

I am trying to download the bank Charges letters templates from this site but I keep getting this error message from word.
Can anyone help me please?

    That is an .rtf file and any word processing program should open it. Have you tried downloading to your desktop, then right click>Open With and browse to MS Word?
    If the OS doesn't know to use Word then you have to tell it, so just double clicking may not work.
    Or open it from within Word instead.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    Opens straight away in Word 2010 for me. Maybe your Office/Word installation is corrupt?

    If you right click click on the Start New Complaint button you should be able to save it to your computer instead of opening it directly from the website.
