What type of paint roller for newly skimmed walls

Options
Hi
We have just had our kitchen walls skimmed and are ready to paint them (already been misted). I would prefer a nice smooth finish and not the orange peel effect I've had in the past using paint rollers. Obviously I've been using the wrong type of roller. Would I be right in thinking that I need a short pile roller and what make would you recommend? I've heard that Hamilton make good ones but not sure where sells them.
Thanks:)

    Morning
I have recently had two of the rooms in my house skimmed and, like U, wanted a nice smooth finish.

    I used two rollers:
1: Medium Pile (large dimeter for faster coverage)
    2: set of min rollers

Be careful not to choose a textured roller check with the vender if u R not sure.
The other thing to not is when using a roller you never paint up and down you need to almost work as if U were paint several M's and W and take care not to go over the area to many times as most rooms need at least tow coats of paint.

Hope this helps and good luck.
