help - tax disc

Gotta problem. I need to renew my tax disc. My car is registered in my maiden name, I got married in may, then took out insurance in my married name. Lady in tax office says I need to show my log book as my name has changed to renew the tax disc. Cannot find that log book, anywhere!!!

Help please!

Fill in the form V34(NI) and get a new V5C(NI) from Coleraine.

You can change your name on it at the same time if you're that way inclined to change it.

I suspect log book is well lost. I was given the car by my parents last year when they moved to England - had just retired and couldn't afford to run 2 cars. The logs book got mislaid in the move.

She's 12 this year. She is a great wee car. Plan is to run her till she resigns, maybe sell her for scrap then. Was hoping I could avoid having to replace it - silly me.
