Contract of prize offer
Options
Hi all I am setting up a fundraising event for all the youth football teams on the Isle of Wight to be able to raise money for their team.
I have a website http://www.iowpencomp.com so that you can see what I am doing.
I have been offered a brand new team kit for the best team at the event and I would like to have a contract so that the supplier will commit to doing this. The supplier has asked for one but I do not know if there is such a contract and if so how would I write one. Any help would be appreciated.
Tony

Sorry for late reply - hope it's still helpful. I've done lots of fundraising and I've never heard of such a thing - but for that matter, I've never heard of a group asking for a contract to make sure that their donation is honoured either! If you have something in writing from them, even an email, and their name is linked to the publicity, I can't see that they would want to NOT honour the obligation (very bad publicity for them). Don't know where you are but suggest you contact your local Council for Voluntary Services (CVS) and ask to speak to their funding adviser. Or do a search to find out who operates the Funding Advice Network in your area. Remember - that donations rely on goodwill, not legality. Hope this helps.0
