Hi,
How soon after applying online (and being approved) for a credit card can you use it? Do you have to wait for the card to arrive in the post and then activate it before using it or could you theoretically buy something online straight away? Apologies if this is a daft question, I've never even looked into getting a credit card before!

As you wont know the main card number from the front of the card and the 3 digit code on the back until the card is in your hand you wont be able to use it. As soon as it arrives you can use it (you may need to activate it over the phone first but this takes minutes)0 -
